Welcome...to the Oak Island Women's Golf Association. The OIWGA is a non-profit organization founded in 1969 at Oak Island Golf Club in Caswell Beach, NC. Membership in the OIWGA is open to all women. You do not need to be a member of the Oak Island Golf Club to join your OIWGA. Our current membership is about 80 women from Caswell Beach, Oak Island, Southport and surrounding communities. Our members are women of all skill levels who enjoy the game of golf and members who join for the fellowship. The OIWGA offers regular weekday (Wednesday) and weekend (Saturday) morning tee times as well as tournaments, other friendly competitions and social events. Whether you are a casual player, a seasoned pro or just enjoy having fun, the OIWGA has something for you! NEXT general meeting is April 11, 2026 at 9:30 am Duffers. A $50 CHECK (NO CASH) FOR 2026 WGA DUES IS NOW DUE. Two options for your 2026 WGA Dues $50 checks (this covers members from December 1st thru November 30th:
(Remember all USPS mail goes to the mail facility in Fayetteville, before returning to Oak Island. Please consider this and be timely.) Mail your check to our treasurer; Joyce Rommel 3705 Pond Pine Court, Southport, NC 28461 OR, give your check to the pro shop employee to put in our OIWGA pouch. DEADLINE: Due at the time you join GHIN fee is due at the beginning of 2026. The fee for Oak Island Golf Course non-members it is $40. THIS MUST BE PAID THROUGH THE OAK ISLAND PRO SHOP. ALL HANDICAP FEES SHOULD BE PAID BY 1/31/26. IF NOT, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE OAK ISLAND GHIN SYSTEM. 2026 OIWGA Handbooks will be on the website soon. The 2026 OIWGA handbook information is now available on the website. Go to Membership Docs, select Handbook and then select 2026 Handbook Information. This will give you some of the pages that were in your printed copy of the Handbook. The member address list is password protected under the Membership Docs.
